Upcoming Military Police Graduation in May

Between 18-19 May 16, the Canadian Forces Military Police Academy (CMPA) will be hosting the first MP QL3 Graduation Ceremony in its new format:  for the first time, 80+ brand new MP will be graduating in one parade.  

​The graduation festivities will be split across two days, with family and friends welcome to attend at both events:

17 May 16 - "Red Beret Ceremony"

The “Red Beret” ceremony is when all new graduates are presented with their red berets for the first time. 

​Dress:
  • CMPA Staff:  OPD for CMPA staff; dress for military guests is dress of the day; civilian guests in appropriate civilian attire.
  • Military Guests:  Dress of the day; and
  • Civilian Guests:  Appropriate civilian attire

18 May 16 - Graduation Parade

During the formal graduation ceremony, the new MP will receive their credentials.   A number of special guests and dignitaries will also be on hand.

​Dress
  • Military attendees:  DEU 1A
  • Civilian guests:  Equivalent civilian attire.
All festivities will occur at the Colonel Stone building, 538 Cambrai Rd, CFB Borden, ON.

I was a member of the Canadian Provost Corp, 8 Coy
based in Vancouver, BC. 1960 - 65
We were a busy unit, and the training was good.
With Vancouver a busy international port, some of our "town patrols" were very interesting, you might say, we met a lot of American sailers. Proud to be a retired member of C PRO C.

Our grandson, Johnathon M Appleyard is graduating today. We are so proud of him.. We can't be there today, but I know his mom will be taking loads of pictures. Congratulations John we love you xxx

I was in 73 class 1960,, 3 months in Shilo then we moved to Borden great
