Military Police Memorial Roll

 — We Shall Remember Them —
The Military Police Memorial Roll (MPMR) recognizes the men and women of Canada’s Military Police who died while serving their country as well as those whose death after returning to civilian life was related to their military service.
The Memorial Roll was initiated by the students of Military Police Officer Course 2001 (Battista Platoon) in February 2020 as a class project. The CMPA is pleased to host the MPMR online and will continue adding the names of other fallen members who are found to meet the criteria for inclusion (available here). For the purpose of the MPMR the term Military Police includes everyone who served with a military policing organization in any of the pre-unification military services of Canada. However, it does not include those who were assigned only to regimental police duties.
The highlighted rows distinguish those members who are known to have died "in the line of duty."

Notes:
1.   The honours listed include only those medals and decorations for which the use of post-nominals has been approved by the Canadian Government, as well as the Mention in Dispatch (MID) award. For the sake of brevity, campaign, mission, commemorative and other medals are not listed. The honours shown are based on the documentary evidence currently available to us and may not always be complete.
2.  The CAF used each member's Social Insurance Number (SIN) as their service number from 1968 until the 1990s when this practice was stopped for privacy reasons. Subsequently, the CAF assigned new service numbers with one letter followed by eight digits. The CMPA has chosen not to display the SIN numbers of those members who died during the period when these were being used.
3. DISCLAIMER: This Military Police Memorial Roll is published by the CMPA and shall not to be construed as having any endorsement by the Canadian Armed Forces or the Department of National Defence. The CMPA may add to or amend this roll at its sole discretion as new information comes to light.
