Canadian Forces National Counter-Intelligence Unit (the this badge is still in use, but CFNCIU now falls under Canadian Forces Intelligence Command).
Special Investigation Unit (obsolete - superseded by the Canadian Forces National Counter-Intelligence Unit and the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service).
Canadian Forces School of Intelligence and Security (obsolete - superseded by the Canadian Forces Military Police Academy and the Canadian Forces School of Military Intelligence).
Shoulder patch that was trialed but never formally adopted for general wear (obsolete).
MP armband introduced in 1966, during the 'integration' period preceding Canadian Armed Forces 'unification' (obsolete).
Bilingual armband introduced in the early 1980s. Obsolete.
Leatherette MP brassard used by some units beginning around 1970. Sometime featured the unit's badge in upper portion. Obsolete.
Bilingual armband for the combat uniform. This one has the formation badge of the 5e Groupe-brigade mécanisé du Canada, signifying it was used by a member of the 5e Peloton de police militaire (Valcartier, Quebec). Obsolete.
MP brassard worn by members of the Airfield Security Force (ASF), circa mid- to late-1990s. Obsolete.
MP brassard for the CADPAT (Temperate Woodland) uniform. Adopted around 2009. Now obsolete since the redesigned CADPAT uniform allows for Velcro-backed MP patches to be worn without a brassard.

Pre-unification service police badges and identifiers (obsolete)
Canadian Military Police Corps (CPMC) hat badge. Used in Canada only, from 1918 to 1920.
Canadian Military Police (CMP) hat badge. Worn by some Canadian military policemen overseas (England, France and Belgium), circa 1916 to 1919. Possibly individually purchased. No evidence has yet been found to show these were formally issued.
Canadian Provost Corps hat badge (Second World War-era). This "King's Crown" version of the badge was replaced after Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne in 1953.
Canadian Provost Corps badge (Queen's crown version). This badge replaced the earlier version after Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953.
Canadian Provost Corps shoulder title. Worn on the battledress uniforms. khaki drill uniforms, brassards and some outerwear from 1940 until about 1970 when post-unification uniforms were issued.
Royal Canadian Air Force hat badge (for non-commissioned personnel). Worn by RCAF Service Police from 1939 until around 1955/56.
Royal Canadian Air Force hat badge (for non-commissioned personnel). This updated version feature the "Queen's crown," and was worn from around 1955/56 until the introduction of the Security Branch hat badge in 1972.
Royal Canadian Air Force "Service Police" armband. Worn from 1939 to 1946.
Armband worn by RCAF "Service Police " (1946 to 1952), "Security Police" (1952-1955), and "Air Force Police" (1955 to 1958). The King's crown version shown here was replaced by a Queen's crown version in 1954. These RCAF Police armbands were superseded by shield-style badges in 1958.
Royal Canadian Air Force "Assistant Provost Marshal" armband. Worn by commissioned security officers filling APM positions from 1940 to about 1946/47.
Air Force Police identification badge. Introduced in 1958, it was replaced by the post-unification MP badge in 1970.
Second World War-era "Naval Patrol" armband (Royal Canadian Navy). Worn by members of the Naval Shore Patrol Service during the war, and by other ratings employed on "shore patrol" duties from 1946 onward. A new version was adopted in 1951, which removed the letters "NP" but retained the crown. A third and final version was adopted around 1955 featuring the Queen's crown.
Royal Canadian Navy Petty Officer's cap badge. Second World War-era version has the King's crown. Worn by Regulating Petty Officers (amongst others).
Royal Canadian Navy "Master-at-Arms" rating badge. This Second World War-era economy version, with yellow cotton thread instead of gilt wire, was worn by Chief Petty Officer's in the Regulating Branch.
RCN Regulating Branch rating badge, adopted around 1950. While the regular component of RCN abolished the Regulating rating in 1959, it was retained in the RCN reserve component where this badge continued to be used until unification.

Second CMPA-APMC logo. Used from around 1995 to 2010.
Original CMPA-APMC logo. Used from 1983 to about 1995.
Logo of the Military Police Fund for Blind Children. This registered charity is run by members of the Military Police Branch on a volunteer basis.
Military Police "Support the Troops" logo.
Retired badge available for purchase from the CMPA by eligible MP retirees.
