The CMPA kit shop has created a 2nd edition of the Canadian Military Police Fallen Members Challenge coin for a specific purpose.
The CMPA Kit shop is selling this 2nd edition Fallen Members Coin in order to raise funds to support the Cpl Gibson Memorial Sign located in Suffield AB. All proceeds from the sale of this coin will be passed onto the 1 MP Regiment RSM to offset the costs for the creation and maintenance of the new Cpl Stephen Gibson memorial sign which has been erected at the site where Cpl Gibson died while on duty. This second edition coin is similar to the first edition except the Canadian Maple Leafs are now Red in colour Coin measures 1.75 inches round or 44.5mm. Coins are engraved on the edge with a serial number starting at 301- continuing after 1st edition sales. Coins we produced by SGS Marketing and are of the highest quality. It promises to be an exciting educational, cultural and culinary experience for all participants! Tour package sales are going well, with around 70% of the maximum number of seats now spoken for. Members of the MP family who still wish to participate should contact the tour organizer soonest in order to secure a spot, since the remaining seats will be offered to interested persons from outside the MP Branch in the near future. CMPA members in good standing, plus one accompanying person*, are each entitled to a $150 discount toward their tour package fees.
