Final CMPA Scholarship cheque presented for 2017

Yesterday, CWO Crystal Krammer had the pleasure of presenting a scholarship cheque on behalf of the CMPA to Miss Geneviève Langlois, who was accompanied by her Mother Mrs France Bélanger, and father WO Frédérick Langois.

In addition to a solid academic performance, Genevieve demonstrated a strong community and school involvement with multiple organizations. She has also dedicated much of her teenage years with the Army Cadets and achieved many distinctions to recognize top performance and dedication. Genevieve will be taking a 2-year program with Georgian College in Pre-Health Sciences or Massage Therapy

Congratulations Geneviève, your scholarship is certainly well deserved!

Congratulations to all the winners. I did not get the opportunity to see all of the recipients and I do believe they are truly deserved and congratulations to them all.

I do however have a complaint. This program needs to either be better publicised throughout the Branch or at least the CMPA Membership. I looked into this earlier in the school year for my daughter and not only could I not get any information from my chain of command, but PSP or the MFRC had no idea of its existence. I thought CMPA had such a program, but when I inquired into it at about this time last year and early this year, I was advised this programme no longer existed. Disappointing I was unable to have my oldest daughter considered for such a reward.

Congratulations to all of the winners and hope they achieve their academic goals and their dreams.

Thanks as well for your observation on advertisement of the competition. We do advertise the competition each year on this blog, Facebook, and Twitter, as well as through internal messaging via email from the office of the CFPM, However, we will look into some of your suggestions.
