The Thunderbird Journal was the official Security Branch magazine. Published quarterly between 1982 until 1998, this magazine provided MP with Branch and CMPA news, Canadian case law and policing developments, and opinion pieces.

The official march for the Military Police Branch is Thunderbird. Composed by Brian Gossip, it replaced the previous Canadian Provost Corps march, Through the Night to Light, in 1973.
