Liste commémoratif de la police militaire |
La liste commémoratif reconnaît les hommes et femmes de la Police militaire du Canada qui sont morts en servant leur pays tout comme ceux et celles dont leur décès est attribuable à leur service militaire suivant un retour à la vie civile.
Cette liste fut initié en février 2021 en tant que projet de cours par les stagiaires du Cours d’officier de police militaire 2001 (Peloton Battista). L’Association de la police militaire canadienne (APMC) est fière d’héberger la liste commémoratif de la police militaire et y ajoutera les noms des membres qui ont perdu la vie et qui rencontre les critères d’inclusion (disponibles ici). Aux fins de cette liste, le terme Police militaire inclut tous ceux et celles ayant servi sous une organisation de police de service avant l’unification des différents services militaires policiers du Canada. Cependant, ceci n’inclut pas ceux et celles qui furent employés à des devoirs de police régimentaire.
